West Berkshire Mencap’s Fashion Show in Conjunction with Sainsbury’s in Newbury!

West Berkshire Mencap is excited to announce that they will be having a Fashion Show to raise awareness of equal opportunities for people with learning disabilities at the Chequers Hotel in Newbury at 7pm on Tuesday 1st April.

West Berkshire Mencap are very lucky to have Sainsburys in Newbury supporting them with this event who are providing clothes for the models and staff to help at the event. Local Rock Choir will kindly be providing the interval entertainment with a performance of their wonderful music and there will also be fashion and beauty stalls for the audience to browse before and after the show.

Carol Irwin, PR Ambassador of Sainsbury’s in Newbury said “This is Sainsbury's second  fashion show with  West Berkshire Mencap, the last one  proved to be  a huge success so we are very excited to be involved again.  Their clients will once again be joining Sainsbury's Newbury colleagues on the catwalk and they are all very excited. The event  provides these individuals with the opportunity to voice their view that it shouldn’t matter if you have a disability or not, you should have the same opportunities as everyone else including taking part in events like this, which is very important to them. It is evident that they get a great deal from the show.”

Tickets are £7.50 for an adult or £5 for a child. Tickets include refreshments at the interval.
